Cycle Hire in Cornwall

We are sorry to say we are temporarily closed and hope to reopen in mid July 2026. This is due to some unforeseen heart health challenges we need to work through.

Pentewan Cycle Hire stocks a range of quality bikes and accessories, available for both bike hire and purchase. Hire a bike and ride down the scenic cycle paths around Mevagissey, St Austell and the beautiful south coast. This is a region ideal for anyone planning a one day cycle hire in Cornwall. The Eden Project and Heligan gardens are also within riding distance, we have details on the routes that you can take. Unfortunately NOT the SW Coast Path this is for walking/hiking only.

Available on-site, we have electric bikes, mountain, tandems, commuter/hybrid and child bikes as well as child seats, child and dog trailers and tag-a-longs.

Please note we do not allow trailers, child seats or tag-a-longs to be attached to the electric bikes.

We also do cycle repairs and servicing to most bikes and have a range of spare parts available.

Our Cycle Routes

Have a look at all of our cycle routes and see how reasonable our rates are; despite increased costs we have kept our hire prices as low as possible. Unfortunately the electric bike hire prices have had to be increased as we have some new bikes. Each of our cycle trails has photographs and a map, making them very easy to picture and follow.

Our bike hire centre is based in Pentewan, not far from St Austell, with access to the Clay Trails and right in the middle of stunning Cornish countryside and beaches.
